What’s up guys! My name is Christian Brown. I am a qualified personal and group fitness trainer, Owner of Deep End “Sink Or Swim” Fitness, and former athlete. If you are here, it means that you’re ready to create a lifestyle filled with healthier habits.

Originally from Jersey City, NJ, I grew up playing Baseball and Track and Field, which was the jumpstart to my Health and Wellness journey.

During my senior year of high school I was provided an opportunity to further my education by joining the Shawn Carter Foundation (SCF), College Prep Program and Bus Tour. This program revealed the world of Historically Black College and Universities to inner-city kids such as myself, exposing us to 10 different HBCUs from Connecticut to Georgia.

Personally, I had never experienced “Black excellence” to this magnitude and was completely oblivious to the importance in becoming apart of such a conglomerate. The College Prep Program was so impactful that I decided to uproot and relocate to Atlanta after graduation.

Naturally, I wanted to pursue a career that involved sports, so I went on to obtain a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology at Morehouse College and a Masters in Athletic Training at Life University.

Throughout my post-graduate career, I discovered the importance of discipline and consistency as it relates to Health and Wellness. Relative to mental health and physical fitness, exercise became apart of my daily routine until I fell in love with the entire process.

Understanding the lengths that exercise can carry your confidence, mental mettle and emotional endurance in all aspects of life, has driven me to help others create a practice of their own.

As an Athletic Training student, I earned the opportunity to work with athletes of all ages and fitness levels, ranging from special needs to the most elite NFL players. Many athletes are born with natural talent, and a certain level of grind and grit that motivate them to be the best. This is something I have always appreciated about working in the field of Athletic Training.

In 2018, I was introduced to a non-athlete who lacked confidence, competitiveness and motivation. Adding to that, this young man was overweight and out of shape. In fact, he noticed my physique and questioned how he could develop his body to “look like mine”.

At the time, the highlight of his day was the “Hot Now” sign at Krispy Kreme (true story). Nothing wrong with indulging, but in this case we needed to create room for moderation and discipline. After overcoming a few highly anticipated barriers, things began to level. With three months of consistent nutrition and personalized workouts, we were able to successfully adopt a healthier routine that would support his new lifestyle.

My background in Athletic Training has empowered me to develop a unique approach toward achieving individual client goals. I have proven success in guiding men and women to discontinue medication, experience weight loss and keep weight off, muscle tone and gain lean muscle through movement, mindfulness, and nutrition.

Despite talent or limitations imposed on any client, it is always gratifying to provide a comprehensive nutrition guide that works in-tandem with exercise.

My mission is to help you become the best version of yourself whether it’s mental motivation, work-life balance or physical preparation. Support and accountability are very important to me, so I will be here through the entire process.

The key to success or failure in any endeavor is your mindset. The time is now and I am excited to take your mind & body to the next level.

Gear up and prepare to create a lifestyle you won’t regret!

I’ll see you in the Deep End!
